FFP2 NR Respirator Mask
- Product Code:
FFP2 NR Respirator Face Mask
Product FFP2 NR Mask is entered in the ARTG: 342 063
The FFP2 Protective Respirator Face Mask is a respiratory protective device capable of filtering out at least 95% of the particles in the air, designed to protect the wearer from large particles (e.g., blood, body fluids, and airborne particulate materials) and small particles (e.g., bacteria and viruses) in a medical / clinical setting. The Protective Respirator can also be utilised within an industrial setting to protect the wearer from breathing dangerous or hazardous substances and small particles in the air such as dust and mould.
This 4 layer personal protective respirator face mask is designed to achieve a very close facial fit and form a seal around the nose and mouth, as well as featuring ear loops for a tight fit to block out small airborne particles.
The FFP (filtering face piece) respirator mask is used to prevent the user from inhaling small airborne particles. The protection factors of FFP respirators are greater than those of surgical masks, although the fit to the wearers face is the most important factor in their effectivity, and systematic ‘fit’ testing is vital.

The FFP2 designation means that the respirator blocks at least 95% of very small (0.3 micron) test particles. FFP2 masks provide a higher degree of protection than a surgical mask because they can filter out both large and small particles when the wearer breathes. When properly fitted, the filtration capabilities of FFP2 respirators exceed those of medical face masks.
The FFP2 respirator is a respiratory protective device designed to achieve a very close facial fit and very efficient filtration of airborne particles. The edges of the respirator are designed to form a seal around the nose and mouth.
FFP2 single-use, disposable respiratory protective devices are commonly used and worn by healthcare personnel during procedures to protect both the patient and healthcare personnel from the transfer of microorganisms, body fluids, and particulate material.
Healthcare providers must be trained and pass a fit test to confirm a proper seal before using a FFP2 respirator in the workplace. Like surgical masks, they’re intended to be single-use only
Our FFP2 NR Mask is manufactured in accordance with EN 149, with test data demonstrating conformance with AS/NZ 1716 (P2), GB2626 (KN95) and NIOSH 42 CFR 84 (N95).
You can be confident in the control of quality and repeatability of manufacture of our masks through our strong quality systems employed by the manufacture in our ISO 13485 Certified Manufacturing facility and for this device the additional Certified Production controls for PPE for Healthcare Professionals (BSI Covid-19 filtering face piece technical specification, for Covid-19 masks for use by healthcare workers). The FFP2 mask offers a premium high level of protection manufactured under multiple strong production controls, which sets ours mask ahead of others.

Disclaimer: Please note that face masks only help reduce exposure and do not eliminate the risk entirely. People with chronic respiratory, cardiac, or other medical conditions that make breathing difficult should check with their health care provider before using an FFP2 respirator because the FFP2 respirator can make it more difficult for the wearer to breathe. FFP2 respirators are labelled as single-use, disposable devices. If your respirator is damaged or soiled, or if breathing becomes difficult, you should remove the respirator, discard it properly, and replace it with a new one. To safely discard your FFP2 respirator, place it in a plastic bag and put it in the trash. Wash your hands after handling the used respirator. FFP2 respirators are not designed for children or people with facial hair. Because a proper fit cannot be achieved on children and people with facial hair, the FFP2 respirator may not provide full protection. Please ensure that you take the appropriate steps to protect your health and use this product carefully. It is important to recognise that the optimal way to prevent airborne transmission is to use a combination of interventions from across the hierarchy of controls, not just PPE alone.
